Mozart Makes Smart Babies (Or at least I hope so)

Yesterday was the first time I felt really cramped inside. I ate a huge bean, wheat gluten, red pepper, and homemade salsa burrito last night, and suddenly, I felt as if my lungs were going to come out of my body via my mouth. Not exactly a comfortable position.

E. and I were laying in bed, watching this new TV show we got into (Dead Like Me), and I was complaining about not being able to breathe. E. plugged his i-Phone into these big padded headphones, and I put them really low on my belly. He created a Mozart Pandora station, and as soon as the music started, I could feel baby moving around. He (or she) actually moved down toward the music, giving me some extra room. Ah, breathing!

It was really cute, and special. Can’t wait to see the baby live and play music!

Plus, everyone says music (and specifically Mozart) makes babies smarter, so hopefully, I’m growing a little mini genius in my belly.
